Is it really free?
Yes, and permanently. No ads, no paid tier, no donations, and no payment method is ever asked for. It is a personal project paid for personally.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Every tool works from your own profile and keeps your results for the next time, so you sign in first. It is free, it asks for an email address and nothing else, and you can delete it and everything in it whenever you like.
What do you store?
Never the file itself. It is opened and read in your browser, and dropped when the reading finishes. What we keep is your email address, the facts pulled out of your résumé with a record of which file, section and bullet each one came from, and the result of every check.
Which file formats work?
PDF and Word .docx, up to 10 MB. Both are read in the browser, and the same résumé in either format produces the same facts.
What does the score mean?
It is a written rubric of 100 points across five dimensions, applied the same way every time, with no model involved. 53 of those points are measured today, and the same file scored twice gives the same number. Anything a rule cannot measure is named as not measured and counted toward neither your score nor the total.
Who built this?
One MBA student, for their own cohort, as a personal project. It is not a company, it is not affiliated with any school or employer, and nobody is paid by it.
